TACLOBAN — A magnitude 5 earthquake shook parts of Northern Samar this Saturday morning according to Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).
The tremor, which occurred at around 1:28 a.m., was centered 20 kilometers northwest of Pambujan town.
Intensity 3, was felt at Virac, Cantaduanes while Intensity 2 at Legazpi City in Albay and Sorsogon City.
Intesity 1 was also reported in Daet, Camarines Norte; Pili, Camarines Sur; Borongan City, Eastern Samar and Cebu City.
"No damage or aftershocks were expected from the quake," Phivolcs said.
