Tunga, Leyte - In a Facebook post today, LEYECO III announced that they will be assisting electric cooperatives in Bicol affected by Supertyphoon Rolly for fast restoration of electricity in the region.

“LEYECO III Task Force Kapatid - Power Restoration Rapid Deployment (PRRD) team bound for Bicol Electric Cooperatives Region to aid in the fast restoration of power in the area which was greatly devastated by the Supertyphoon Rolly.
Eight (8) top-calibre linemen of LEYECO III prepared their tools and equipment including personal hygiene kits and other essentials for their 15 days restoration activities in Bicol.
General Manager Allan Laniba of LEYECO III closely supervised their preparations including their food provisions and other safety tools for their departure.
The team headed by Pegie Ortula-Construction Section Head, will be bringing with them LEYECO III's boom truck with auger and one maintenance vehicle which is scheduled to board a ferry in Allen, Samar tomorrow, 3 a.m.
