TACLOBAN CITY — Police authorities nabbed two watchlisted drug personalities on a buy-bust operation on Sunday, August 1, 2021, at Burgos Street, Barangay 23, Tacloban City.
The successful operation was conducted by Tacloban City Police Office - Station 2 and led by PLT Rey Baldicano Jr. under the direct supervision of PMaj Winrich Lim, Station Commander, in coordination with Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) - 8.
The suspects were identified as alias "Dangaw," 30 years old, single, unemployed, and a "Catherine," 40 years old, single, unemployed. Both are residents of Barangay 36, Sabang, Tacloban City.
Confiscated from the suspects were the following: 1 sachet of suspected shabu sold to the authorities, 1 subscribed five hundred peso bill bearing the serial number: JT964359 with boddle money amounting to 2,000 pesos used as buy-bust money.
Other items confiscated from them are 1 sling bag, 1 make-up kit, 1 NOKIA unit cellphone, and 3 pieces sachets of suspected shabu. Recovered illegal drugs are estimated to have a total market value of 6,500 pesos.
The suspects are currently under the custody of TCPO-PS2 and will face appropriate charges for violation of RA 9165 Section 5 and 11. —Tacloban News Update (Source: Tacloban PNP)
