TACLOBAN CITY — The Dagami Transport Cooperative, in collaboration with the Land Transportation Franchising Regulatory Board (LTFRB) and the Department of Transportation (DOTr), will resume providing free ride services under the "Libreng Sakay" program starting on Thursday, September 23, 2021.
Dagami Transport Cooperative's modern and traditional PUV units will service the following routes for healthcare workers (HCWs) and authorized persons outside residence (APORs):
- Tacloban City to Dagami and visa versa; and
- Tacloban City to Dagami, to Guinarona and vice versa.
Individuals seeking a free trip must present their ID or other documents proving that they are healthcare workers or authorized persons outside residence (APORs). Face masks and face shields must be worn during the journey, and minimal public health regulations must be fulfilled.
Said project is a program of the Department of Transportation (DOTr) through the Land Transportation Franchising Regulatory Board (LTFRB) under Phase II of the Service Contracting Program (SCP), which began on September 10, 2021 nationwide.
