TACLOBAN CITY — 100 Certificates of Award were distributed to GMA Kapuso Village beneficiaries at St. Francis Village's covered court on Wednesday afternoon, October 27, 2021.
Before distributing the certificates, the City Housing and Community Development Office (CHCDO) ensured that all beneficiaries were prepared by transporting those who had forgotten to bring their IDs back to their residences and back on-site via free transportation.
The 100 beneficiaries received the certificates as confirmation that they will be given "Pabahay" housing units at GMA Kapuso Village as part of the Yolanda "Pabahay" Housing Project of the Office of the City Mayor Alfred Romualdez.
The release of land titles to the beneficiaries will occur soon as they await their housing units. Meanwhile, on behalf of the City Mayor, Atty. Anacleto Lacanilao III reminded everyone to get vaccinated at the New Bus Terminal and Tacloban City Convention Center, which accept walk-ins.
