The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Tacloban City District Engineering Office (TCDEO) – warmly welcomes DE Johnny Acosta as the new District Engineer during the official turnover of leadership held yesterday, October 13, 2021.
Along with DE Acosta to grace the event were Regional Director Nerie Bueno and personnel and staff from the Regional Office and Leyte 1st District Engineering Office.
DE Acosta has led the achievements of Leyte 1st District Engineering Office for many years before being reassigned to Tacloban City District Engineering Office and will be replacing DE Lino Francisco Gonzalez who stayed with TCDEO for almost 9 months.
During her talk ADE Yuse reassured DE Acosta that the office and all its employees will give their full support and strive more under his leadership. ADE Yuse and the whole TCDEO personnel and staff were also grateful to DE Gonzalez for continuously guiding the office in accomplishing its tasks and improving its performance in many aspects.
“DE Johnny is proactive,” RD Bueno said while stating the common problems encountered by the District therefore guaranteeing the office that she fully trusts DE Acosta to give the best solutions to these problems.
On his acceptance speech DE Acosta stated, “Ito ay di ko magagawa without your support. Kailangan magkakaisa tayo. Magtutulong tulong tayo para gumanda yung city,” as he starts his new journey and sharing his goals in leading the District to create better roads for the city and for the office to give its best performance.
