Beginning October 25, drivers, operators, and passengers traveling on the following city roads will pass through Quezon Boulevard:

According to TOMECO, the scheme is to reduce traffic congestion on Rizal Avenue, and the opening of Quezon Boulevard will help ease traffic in the area,
The office will also hold a "dialogue" with transportation groups on November 15, 2021, to discuss the proposed rerouting scheme before the dry-run begins and the Mangonbangon Bridge is completed. —Tacloban News Update (Source: Tacloban-CIO)
