TACLOBAN CITY — According to National Task Force (NTF) Against - COVID-19 chief implementer Sec. Carlito Galvez Jr., the total number of COVID-19 doses that have arrived in the country since February this year has reached 141,606,240 this Saturday (Nov. 27).
This includes government purchases as well as foreign donations. He stated that the majority of the vaccine is still being produced by various COVID-19 vaccine manufacturers.
Once the vaccine is delivered to the Philippines, the country will undoubtedly receive 217.34 million doses.
The Philippine government recently amended its supply agreement with Pfizer-BioNTech SE to include an additional 20 million doses of Pfizer COVID-19 vaccines.
