Eastern Visayas receives 346,070 doses of COVID-19 vaccines

TACLOBAN CITY — 146,000 AstraZeneca doses and 200,070 Pfizer doses were delivered to Eastern Visayas on Saturday, November 6, 2021, as the region continues its fight to achieve herd immunity against coronavirus disease.

The vaccines were delivered directly to each destination LGUs for both the first and second doses of the eligible Priority Groups.

The pre-allocated AstraZeneca and Pfizer vaccines were delivered directly to the provinces of Leyte, with 51,600 doses of AstraZeneca and 72,540 doses of Pfizer, Eastern Samar with 13,400 and 16,380 doses, Northern Samar with 21,200 and 62,010 doses, and Western Samar with 26,400 and 18,720 doses of AstraZeneca and Pfizer vaccines, respectively.

Meanwhile, the remaining 33,400 AstraZeneca and 30,420 Pfizer Vaccines have been transported directly to the DOH EVHCD Cold Storage Facility for further allocation and distribution. —Tacloban News Update (Source: DOH-EV)
