TACLOBAN CITY — The TESDA Auto Mechanic Training Centre located at the Regional Training Center in Barangay Abucay, Tacloban City, is looking for a new batch of scholars for the two-year Automotive Servicing (National Certificate I to IV) program.
The scholarship, which is now in its 11th year of providing free training to financially disadvantaged youth, also includes free board and lodging, meals, medical and dental services, life insurance, training supplies for the entire two-year duration, and 100% employment after training.
Applicants must be 16 to 23 years old by March 1, 2022, a High School graduate/Grade 10 Completer/Senior High School Graduate/ALS Passer, Single (Not yet married, no children, no live-in partner), in good mental, emotional, and physical health (No tattoos), and a member of an Indigent Family (4P's member).

They must also be able to work Monday through Saturday and stay in the dormitory for the duration of the training. They must also be fully vaccinated or willing to be vaccinated.
Qualified applicants may submit their applications online or in-person at the TESDA Auto Mechanic Training Centre (Isuzu Building) in Brgy. 91 Abucay, with the following requirements:
- Application Form is Completed;
- Copy of the Certificate of Live Birth (NSO or PSA Copy);
- Photocopy of High School Diploma or Certification as a Grade 10 Completer/Senior High School Graduate/Level or ALS Passer Certificate 4P's ID; if not a member of the 4P's: Indigence Certificate (from Barangay); and
- Certificate of good moral character from the previous school.

The TESDA Auto Mechanic Training is a collaboration between Isuzu Motors Limited Japan, World Vision Development Foundation, and TESDA Region 8.
