TACLOBAN CITY – Another 21 Tacloban Barangay Local Government Units (BLGUs) have been added to the list of Safety Seal compliant government facilities after the DILG Inspection and Certification team awarded them a certificate of compliance.
According to the City Information Office (CIO), since February of this year, a team comprised of DILG Tacloban, TCPO, and BFP has been visiting these barangays to conduct an inspection, validation, and certificate issuance.
Barangays 3 & 3A, 71, 73, 74, 2, 8, 15, 64, 33, 43-B, 46, 48-B, 92, 96, 109, 110, 93, 97, 102, 7, and 43-A are said to have passed the Safety Seal compliance indicators.
Meanwhile, the Civil Service Commission - Leyte Field Office, Tacloban City Jail Female Dormitory, and Leyte Normal University were recently added to the list, according to the report.
The Safety Seal Certification is a voluntary certification scheme that certifies that an establishment complies with the government's minimum public health standards and uses or integrates its contact tracing with staysafe.ph. —Tacloban News Update (Source: CIO)
