TACLOBAN CITY – A man from Southern Leyte who visited Tacloban City was grateful after his lost bag containing money and valuables was returned to him this Friday morning, June 3, thanks to the assistance of Tacloban PNP.
According to a police report, Romeo Undat, Married and a resident of Barangay Biasong, Libagon, Southern Leyte, went to Tacloban City Police Station 2 on May 31, 2022, to report that he left his bag on an MCH Tricycle with body number 0935 when he got off at Leyte Home Depot.
His bag contained a wallet with 70,000 pesos in cash, a driver's license, an SSS card, a Philhealth card, and other valuables. He attempted to locate the said tricycle to retrieve his belongings. Still, his efforts were fruitless, so he immediately went to the said police station in order to receive assistance and resolve the matter.
"The Station's personnel then contacted authorities to locate and flag down said vehicle to recover the alleged missing items," the report added.
Enrique Oliveros, the driver of the said MCH, went to the police station yesterday to hand over the missing bag to the station personnel, who immediately contacted Undat so that it could be returned to him.
Undat was extremely grateful to the police for taking immediate action that resulted in the return of his bag on Friday morning, June 3, after it had gone missing for several days. —iTacloban (Source: PS Abucay)
