TACLOBAN CITY — On July 25, 2022, the first day of official enrollment for School Year 2022-2023 in Tacloban, almost 6,000 students were able to enroll for the new academic year.
According to Dr. Nilo Eder, the DepEd Tacloban City Division Information Officer, the preliminary figure accounts for both newly enrolled students and returnees.
Dr. Eder subsequently advised the parents to take the opportunity to enroll their children earlier and not wait until the last day in order to avoid overcrowding at the last minute.
He also reiterated the call to strictly observe the minimum health protocols. In addition to this, he strongly recommended to the parents that they monitor their children's compliance with the fundamental health standards.
The information officer for the division and his team continue to monitor the ongoing enrollment that is taking place throughout the schools in the city on this, the second day of enrollment.
The program for enrolling students in person is currently being carried out at all of the public schools and will continue until August 22. —iTacloban (Source: TCIO)
