TACLOBAN CITY – The Department of Public Works and Highways-Tacloban City District Engineering Office (DPWH-TCDEO) has sent out personnel to assist motorists throughout the long weekend for the national commemoration of All Saints' Day as part of the 2022 All Saints Day "Lakbay Alalay" Program, which began on October 28, 2022.
The Tacloban DEO set up two navy-blue tents, one at PHCC Traffic Island and the other at Coca-Cola Traffic Island, manned by uniformed personnel from the Maintenance Section. The TCDEO Maintenance Section Office was also used for office work.
District Engineer Johnny M. Acosta assures the public that station personnel will be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to assist motorists and pedestrians in need of immediate assistance and that they will collaborate closely with the appropriate government agencies to provide any necessary assistance.
