TACLOBAN CITY – OFWs and seafarers in Eastern Visayas no longer need to travel to larger cities for pre-employment medical examinations, thanks to the Eastern Visayas Medical Center (EVMC) in Tacloban City, which officially opened a facility for them on Wednesday, October 19.
The facility offers the following Mandatory Pre-Employment Medical Examinations to this sector: Physical Examination, Laboratory, Chest X-Ray, ECG, Drug Test, Visual Acuity and Ishihara, Dental Examination, Audiometry, and Psychological Examination.

EVMC Medical Chief Dr. Salvador Evardone, Dr. Lilibeth Andrade of DOH-8, Atty.
