TACLOBAN CITY – Selected Engineers and Personnel of the Department of Public Works and Highways-Tacloban City District Engineering Office (DPWH-TCDEO) grab another learning opportunity as they took part in the Three-Day Refresher Course on Equipment Preventive Maintenance, Operation of Construction and Maintenance Equipment and Porto Clinic Examinations on October 10-12, 2022.
The event took place at the DPWH Multi-purpose Hall in Baras, Palo, Leyte.
On the first day of training, participants were required to submit a passport-sized ID photo with a nametag and a photocopy of their Professional Driver's License, as well as to strictly wear the prescribed office uniform and ID.
The refresher course included lectures on how to develop effective equipment preventive maintenance as well as how to properly operate construction and maintenance equipment. Examinations were also conducted to assess each participant's knowledge as well as the practical application of the aforementioned lectures.

Lemuel Mikkael Sibayan from the DPWH-TCDEO’s Maintenance Section said in a statement, highlighting the importance of a refresher course for him.
Following the completion of all activities, participants were awarded certificates during the Closing Program on October 12, 2022. (DPWH-TCDEO)
