TACLOBAN CITY — The Commission on Elections (COMELEC) reminded the public on Tuesday that voter registration will resume on December 12 of this year.
Thirteen days before the resumption of registration, the agency strongly encouraged individuals to go to their nearest COMELEC office or satellite registration sites.
It is open every day, including Sundays and holidays, from Monday through Saturday.
The Comelec reminds those visiting their office to bring a birth certificate or any valid ID for identification verification.
Voter registration is open to people aged 15 and up from December 12 to January 31, 2023.

Meanwhile, the Office for Overseas Voting announced on Tuesday that the overseas voter registration period will reopen on December 9 and will remain open until September 30, 2024.
