The 2nd Northern Samar Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC) successfully awarded a grandmother free housing under the "Kapwa Ko Sagot Ko House Project" on November 8, 2022, in Brgy 8 Poblacion, Pambujan, Northern Samar.
According to Police Lieutenant Colonel Alex C Dang-aoen, Force Commander of the 2nd Northern Samar PMFC, Encarnacion B. Tenedero and his two grandchildren benefited from their project.
The project was made possible by the cooperation of personnel from the 2nd Northern Samar PMFC, as well as communication with Ms. Mary Claudine A. Tan, VOICE Coordinator, Ms. Margie J. Doliendo, Social Welfare Aide, and Pambujan Vice Mayor, Atty. Ronel A. Tan.
Lola Encarnacion's remarks at the ceremonial handover: "Kami ay lubos na nagpapasalamat sa tulong at pangangalaga na ibinigay ng mga kapulisan at sa iba pang tumulong. Hindi na kami matatakot tuwing umuulan dahil binigyan niyo kami ng simple, disente at ligtas na tahanan (We are extremely grateful for the assistance and care provided by the police and others who assisted. We won't be afraid when it rains because you provided us with a simple, decent, and secure home)."
The program aims to assist those in greatest need during the crisis, particularly during this time of disaster and the COVID-19 pandemic.
"Hinihikayat namin ang mga mamamayan na makiisa sa amin sa iisang layunin upang lumikha ng isang ligtas at mapayapang komunidad. Ipalaganap ang pagmamahal at sama-sama nating malalagpasan ang lahat ng kahirapan. (We encourage citizens to join us in a common goal of creating a safe and peaceful community. Spread the love, and we will overcome all obstacles together)," said PLtCol Dang-aoen.
