TACLOBAN CITY – The police can now carry out their tasks and duties conveniently and comfortably as the Department of Public Works, and Highways-Tacloban City District Engineering Office (DPWH-TCDEO) has completed the Two-Storey Multi-Purpose Building located at the Philippine National Police (PNP)-Regional Training Center, Tacloban City on July 24, 2022.
The 9-million-peso project, funded by the General Appropriations Act of 2022, includes the construction of a 10-meter-by-25-meter office building with 10-meter-tall barracks and roofing on top.
Additionally, each floor contains two rooms and restrooms with multiple stalls and urinals.
The DPWH-TCDEO recognizes the importance of the PNP in upholding the law, maintaining peace and order, and protecting internal and external security.
They will be better equipped to carry out their duties and responsibilities if they have access to the appropriate facilities. (DPWH-TCDEO)
