TACLOBAN CITY – The Christmas season has officially arrived in Tacloban City, as the aesthetic lighting and display in the City Hall Grounds, Kanhuraw Hill, was finally lit on Friday Night, December 2.
In addition to the lighting ceremony for the nativity scene, tunnel of lights, and other displays, fireworks were set off to mark the start of the Christmas displays.
Tacloban City Mayor Alfred Romualdez led the lighting ceremony, together with Councilor Brian Granados, Councilor Chris Esperas, Councilor Edson Malaki, and City Administrator Attorney Jojo Lacanilao.
Those in attendance immediately took photos or selfies with the various Christmas displays as their backdrop. —iTacloban
