TACLOBAN CITY – The Civil Service Commission Regional Office VIII (CSC RO VIII) has issued a call for nominations for the 2023 Search for Outstanding Government Workers. The nomination is open to all elective and appointive officials and employees holding a permanent, temporary, coterminous, contractual, and casual employment status in the government, whether stationed in the Philippines or abroad.
The goal of the search is to recognize and honor government officials and employees who exemplify the highest standards of excellence and integrity. The search covers various categories, including work performance, conduct, and ethical behavior.
Posthumous nominations may also be made for a public servant who died in the line of duty or in pursuing his/her official duties and responsibilities as a civil servant in the last 12 months.
The awards are divided into three categories: the Presidential Lingkod Bayan Award, which recognizes outstanding work performance; the CSC Pagasa Award, which also recognizes outstanding work performance; and the Outstanding Public Officials and Employees or the Dangal ng Bayan Award, which recognizes exemplary conduct or ethical behavior.
The deadline for submission of nominations via electronic submission of the documentary requirements is on Friday, March 31, 2023, at 5:00 p.m. to the CSC RO VIII and/or CSC Field Offices. Nomination forms and guidelines may be downloaded via https://cscro8.weebly.com/csc-forms.html.
