TACLOBAN CITY – The Traffic Operation Management Enforcement and Control Office (TOMECO) in Tacloban City has recently implemented a new one-way traffic plan to improve traffic flow and provide easier access to Divine Word Hospital.
The Del Pilar-Burgos street has now been converted to one-way traffic, leading towards Del Pilar-Imelda Veteranos. In contrast, the Sto Niño-Imelda Veteranos street has been made one way towards Sto. Niño-Burgos street to decongest the area around Liceo del Verbo Divino.
This new traffic scheme, which took effect today, has been implemented to ensure smooth and convenient travel for patients visiting the Divine Word Hospital.

According to TOMECO, the change is expected to alleviate traffic congestion and provide quicker access to the hospital. The one-way traffic plan will also provide relief to residents in the hospital's vicinity and reduce the risk of road accidents.
Drivers and commuters are advised to take note of the new one-way traffic plan and plan their trips accordingly to avoid any inconvenience. —iTacloban (with reports from CIO)
