The Tacloban City Hall's extension office in Barangay 106 Sto. Niño continues to provide convenient services for residents living in the northern barangays. The extension office offers various services, saving residents transportation costs from traveling to the downtown area.
Located in Area 9, the northern part of the city comprises 18 barangays. The City Hall Extension Office has staff members from various offices, such as the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO), Barangay Affairs Office (BAO), and the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office/TACRU.

In addition, the BAO provides assistance with concerns or issues related to housing or barangays. The office's community development coordinators can coordinate with the city government to address these concerns.
Moreover, the City Hall Extension Office has a designated staff member from the City Treasurer's Office to issue cedula to residents every Tuesday.
The office is open 24/7, and two shifts of staff members from the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office/TACRU are available to respond to any emergency. The sub-offices of CSWDO and BAO in the City Hall Extension Office are open from Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
