TACLOBAN CITY – The Santo Niño District Health Center, located in GMA Village, Barangay 106 Sto. Niño, Tacloban City, serves residents in the city's northern villages with basic health services. The health center provides services to eight barangays, from Cabalawan to Tagpuro.
In addition, the health center has partnered with the Family Medicine (FAMED) Department of the Eastern Visayas Medical Center (EVMC) to provide medical services to its patients. Medical workers and doctors from EVMC are providing their expertise and services to the health center.
According to the health center's schedule, prenatal services are offered on Mondays, pediatric consultations for children aged 0-14 years old are available on Tuesdays, regular immunizations are provided on Wednesdays, adult consultations for individuals aged 18 years old and above are offered on Thursdays, and senior citizen consultations are available on Fridays.
Health workers from the facility also conduct monthly visits and consultations in the area to reach residents in remote barangays.
The Santo Niño District Health Center also provides basic oral health care services, including consultations and oral health education every Monday, Tuesday, and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The center's dentist-in-charge, Dr. Jesusa Christine E.
