TACLOBAN CITY – To better serve the public, Tacloban City Hospital (TCH) has announced changes to its outpatient services. Patients seeking check-ups will now be required to report to the Triage Area for screening, where vital signs will be taken, and a priority and patient card number will be assigned.
Triage attendants will then refer patients to the appropriate doctor based on the nature of their check-up or consultation.
In addition to check-ups, TCH offers several other services to the public. The Animal Bite Center is available for anti-rabies vaccinations from Monday to Thursday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Prenatal check-ups are available from Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, excluding weekends and holidays.
TCH also provides free dental check-ups from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Patients seeking dental services must pay for an antigen test, but the hospital may adjust the payment if indigent.
The changes to TCH's outpatient services are part of a larger effort to improve healthcare in Tacloban City. —iTacloban (Source: TCIO)
