The upcoming barangay elections, problems with illegal drugs, insurgency, and illegal gambling are among the issues that will be tackled under his leadership in RPOC.
Romualdez emphasized the importance of gathering information from various government agencies to properly manage the region's peace and order and address the public's concerns.
To ensure effective management of peace and order, RPOC Chairperson Romualdez is set to visit the six provinces in Region 8 to personally check on the officials' actions and policies being implemented.
He also urged the public to cooperate with the government and report any incidents that may affect the peace and order in their communities.
The Region 8 RPOC covers the provinces of Biliran, Eastern Samar, Northern Samar, Leyte, Southern Leyte, and Samar. With Mayor Romualdez at the helm, the council aims to provide its constituents a peaceful and safe environment while addressing the issues that hamper the region's development. —iTacloban (Source: CIO)
