TACLOBAN CITY – Pursuing quality infrastructure facilities and services has led representatives from the Tacloban City District Engineering Office (TCDEO) to participate in a Coordination Meeting with the Bureau of Design and Planning and Design Engineers of Region and District Offices on February 21-23, 2023.
The event occurred at the Princesa Garden Island Resort and Spa in Caniguiran, Puerto Princesa, Palawan.
Various Planning and Design Engineers representing their respective Regional and District Offices nationwide attended the meeting, which aimed to discuss significant topics related to infrastructure design and planning. Chief of the Planning and Design Section, Engr. Margarita C. Bacierra, and Engr. Ted Bryan A. Bacor represented the Tacloban DEO.
The Acknowledgement of Participants was led by Assistant Director of DPWH Regional Office IV-B, Melquiades H. Sto. Domingo, while the opening remarks were given by OIC-Director of the Bureau of Design, Edwin C. Matanguihan.
DPWH Regional Office Director IV-B, Director Gerald A. Pacanan, also spoke during the welcome address, and Undersecretary of Information Management and Technical Services, Maximo L. Carvajal, was in attendance.
The discussions focused on various topics, including the Ideal Ratio for Planning and Design Software Applications, DPWH Regional and District Offices Ideal Ratio for Engineering Survey Equipment, Solar-Powered Water Supply Systems, and Solar-Powered Street Lighting Guidelines.
