TACLOBAN CITY – The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) has launched the Piso Caravan and is calling on the public to participate in Tacloban City. The event will take place from June 16 to June 17, starting from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m., on the 2nd Floor of Robinsons Place in Marasbaras, Tacloban City (between Handyman and Watsons).
During the caravan, individuals can exchange their old and worn-out coins and banknotes for the fresh currency issued by BSP. It is advised to sort the coins and banknotes by denomination and consider replacing worn-out bills with new ones. Additionally, attendees can open digital wallets, online bank accounts, and basic deposit accounts with participating Financial Service Providers.
