TACLOBAN CITY – In a celebration of music and culture, the Sangyaw Festival’s Opening Concert is poised to captivate Tacloban City with a stellar lineup of performances. The Cultural Center of the Philippines proudly presents this enchanting evening at the Tacloban City Convention Center (Astrodome) on June 20, 2024, at 7:00 p.m.

This year’s festival kicks off with a symphonic spectacle, free of charge, in a collaborative effort with the City Government of Tacloban under the esteemed leadership of Mayor Alfred S. Romualdez and ABC President Raymund Romualdez.

The Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by the renowned Dr. Herminigildo Ranera, will take center stage, promising an auditory journey through their orchestral renditions.

The concert will also feature the talents of award-winning singers Lara Maigue and Gian Magdangal, whose voices are set to soar alongside the harmonious symphony, creating a night of unforgettable musical artistry.

In anticipation of high demand, free tickets will be made available starting June 18, 2024.
