While many roads remain passable, some areas have limited access due to ongoing clearing efforts. For instance, along the Daang Maharlika-Calbayog-Catbalogan Road in Brgy. Burabod, Sta. Margarita, three out of four lanes are available for vehicles despite soil erosion. Additionally, a fallen tree on the Calbayog-Catarman Road has restricted access to one lane in Brgy. Sinidman.
In Northern Samar, the Pangpang-Palapag-Mapanas-Gamay-Lapinog Road is currently passable with two lanes available in several locations, including Brgy. Maragano and along specific sections of the Palapag-Paysud area.
DPWH Region VIII assures the public that maintenance crews and field personnel are actively monitoring affected areas to assist travelers. Road warning devices have also been installed to ensure safety on the roads. —iTacloban (Source: 1)
